When will the Xfinity/Scripps standoff end?
It has been nearly a month, beginning March 31st, since subscribers nationwide have lost numerous TV stations that we have paid for/are still paying to receive. Depending on one's market, affected stations include one or more of the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) plus any one or more of a number of specialty stations (GRIT, Court TV, Laff TV, Bounce TV, ION+, ION Mystery).
And while some of these stations are available by using an over the air antenna, streaming apps, or through the station's website, that doesn't help those of us who routinely DVR our programs to watch at a more convenient time and/or to skip commercials.
It's beyond time that Xfinity resolves this issue and gives us the full range of TV stations we are, and have been, paying for!

@rjc1247E. W. Scripps cable network programming is currently unavailable as our agreement with E. W. Scripps has expired.
Please know we pay programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and a number of reasonable offers have been made and they haven’t been accepted. Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers. I know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating, and I apologize for any inconvenience. For more information, visit https://www.xfinity.com/programmingchanges.

Totally agree. Resolve the issues. Fees are already outrageous and Comcast is not doing this for their subscribers. Settle or I’m done with Comcast

There are many of us who have to have cable in order to watch TV at all. We want our channels back. It has been long enough.

Comcast should agree to Scripps terms. It would show that they care about local station's programming.

I Agree. I tape all my shows. I watch alot of shows on CBS. I have had Comcast over 25 years. Maybe its time to say good by. Getting out my old VCR and I have an Annetta. It will save a lot of 💰

I am very frustrated with the lack of communication from Xfinity. As a long time and loyal customer I am seriously considering other options. This interruption in has gone on too long. Do you have any idea when the contract dispute will be resolved?
Thank you

We are missing much of what broadcast tv has to offer, here in Arizona it is the ABC network that we are missing. Comcast is being ridiculous in letting this happen and the public knows very well that this is not about rates to customers but the bottom line of the gigantic conglomerate that is Comcast. Make a little less profit and let's go. Stop giving us your talking points and let the people who need to know that your customers are unhappy and want our channels back. If you haven't figured it out yet, we are on the EW Scripps side of this conflict. Stop feeding us [Edited: "Language"] and fix the issue at the expense of Comcast.

If this was a teacher strike or you a w strike or most other strikes media pressure will be put on constantly to get the strike over. The lack of any media coverage daily on this problem and any pressure being put on the parties to resume negotiations is unbelievable. Let's hear something on the news about this.

I think it’s terrible that you all are treating your customers this way! [Edited: "Solicitation"]! We are paying car note prices for limited services poor customer service! The seniors don’t stand a chance! I’m writing to my state representative regarding this and other issues along with the public service commission! It’s a Dirty [Edited: "Language"] Shame!😡

This “standoff” has zero to do with customer service and everything to do with greed. Comcast/Xfinity wants us to get an updated router. I think we need to update our provider. This has gone on too long. As of today, we’re looking.

I'm learning there's more than one way to teach people what they can live without...
Like xfinity cable. If not resolved soon we will be finding alternative ways to watch TV. It's not like we don't have options now.
Greed will lead us all!
