When will I get an email confirming my router will ship?

I ordered Xfinity yesterday. I got an email saying "If you ordered a Getting Started Kit, we'll send an additional email to let you know when your equipment has shipped". How long does this usually take? I haven't received anything about my equipment shipping. Can I pick up a router at my local Xfinity and skip the wait?

If you requested shipping for your new equipment, the shipping notification should go our within 24 hours, unless you just created the order on Friday or Saturday. In that case, it will most likely go out on Monday. If you requested an in-store pickup, you can stop by and grab the equipment whenever you like.
