Yes - my mother had for years.  If you are using xfinity phone, it is actually a VOIP, not a land line POTS (plain old telephone service).   Unfortuneatly the reliability is xfinity voip is very bad in NJ with many more issues then your local copper line phone service.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
