Watch reward
Over the weekend a Xfinity chat person helped me use my Diamond reward to get the Apple watch. Now I discover I have a 36 month contract. What is that for. He did not say anything about a contract - he only said I would need to pay $36. I understood that was one payment of $36. Can you explain why the contract?

Hello @PhilWA, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry for any confusion here. I completely understand why you’d want clear details about the reward you redeemed and how everything works. We always want the process to feel transparent, and I know it can be frustrating when something doesn’t seem fully explained. When redeeming rewards, we do provide the full details before redeeming. Our device payment plans are now for 36 months. With the reward, it Requires 36-month Xfinity Mobile Device Payment Plan (DPP) agreement. The credits will be applied equally over 36 months via bill credits. It's not a one-time credit. If the line is canceled or watch payments are accelerated, remaining credits are forfeited.
