Wasps in my xFinity box!

Wasps have set up home in the xFinity box outside my garage. I would request that a technician come and remove the curmudgeons from the box, and inspect the wires to make sure they are still ok. (We have been experiencing intermittent bursts of "disconnect/reconnect" for a few months.....wonder if this could be a result of the nest?) Hopefully, xFinity will then seal it up tight so they cannot squat there in the future! Please advise on next steps. Thanks!

Hello @user_efef5e. I am sorry to hear that you have Wasps in your Xfinity box. I would love to get your account pulled up and get a visit set up to take care of that. Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary 
  • Click the direct message icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
  • Press Enter to send your message

@XfinityAaron​ I do not see any of the links you are referring to.....I am signed in, but I don't see anything that allows me to create a DM......

The direct message icon should be on the top right. Also, is sign in gone from the top right of the scree as well? If not, you will want to click that and log in first.

@XfinityAaron​ Had to click "Welcome" to see the chat icon. I did send the message with service address details. Should I wait on that screen for a response?
