Voice is pending activation

I have recently checked my bill and noticed I had an internet/voice equipment rental charge of 14 dollars. I go to my account and see I have internet, but voice service shows pending activation. We had our landline canceled and I was wanting to make sure I wasn't being charged for something I don't use.
