Veteran rewards

My veteran status was verified 3 weeks ago. However, my rewards status was not upgraded to platinum as it should of been. Is there something I'm not doing in order to get that to upgrade? Also, the rewards say that I'd be able to get an unlimited mobile line for a year free of charge. Do I need to wait for the rewards to upgrade first? Is there a free device that I can get with the new plan also? Thank you.
