Very poor customer support - so stable internet connection

My internet is only 30% of my plan speed and keeps loosing connection.

I contacted the support several times and they were always restarting my modem and trying things which did not help. My appointment with a technician is a week away - the earliest possiblity !!!!

Today I was asked to reset my modem manually. The guy said this has to be done. We were working on this issue for almost 40 minutes with the result that all my 50 devices connected to my WiFi have all to be reconnected MANUALLY !!!!!!!!!! And the problem was NOT solved. 

I am so [Edited: "Language"] - this will cost me HOURS to figure out how to connect my devices back to the new WiFi.

Even giving the new Wifi the same name and password as before did not help - all devices need to be reconnected manually. So annoying ... and additionally I have to wait for a week until a technician comes by to resolve the hardware problem .... very frustrating situation ....

user_ubc5b5 Hello and happy Thursday, I definitely understand how frustrating it would be. I've had to do it a few times when my kids didn't get the memo not to hand our Wi-Fi password out like candy and we have a ton of devices, including smart home cameras and such. I am happy to check and see if we have a sooner technician appointment for you. Can you please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address?
