Utility pole removal

Atlantic Electric and Verizon have moved their service to a new utility pole. Comcast has cut service to the house as it has been torn down to be rebuilt in the next few weeks. Since Comcast is the last "user" of the utility pole, and the service has been abandoned, how and where does one contact someone at Comcast to remove the utility pole? No one at 800-COMCAST seems to give a hoot about an appropriate contact. Keep getting the runaround.

Will someone from Comcast please respond? Utility pole # P13959.

Comcast doesn't "own" the utility pole.  That belongs to a telephone company, either AT&T or Verizon.  There might be a metal plate on it somewhere that tells who it belongs to.  Comcast won't remove the pole since it's not theirs.

Hi @cablvr, Thanks for using the Xfinity Forum. @Again is correct. In your situation, you would need to contact the electric company because the pole no longer belongs to us. If the lines were still on, then, we would remove them and pass it over to the electric company. I hope this helps!
