Utility column/box

I’m trying to figure out what company owns the broadband utility column/box at the side/end of our driveway to see about the cost/possibility of it being buried or moved a foot or two to allow better access to our drive.

Thanks

@user_gwrlra Who is currently providing you telecommunication services to your home? Typically, those pedestals fall under easement protection and if there isn't room within the easement to bury the conduit, due to the amount of space and other pedestals such as power if they are sharing that space, we wouldn't be able to move or bury it.

@XfinityBradM

we have fiber to our home now, which a inground box was just installed behind the pedestal I’m inquiring about. Prior to that we had xfinity. There’s a 12’ easement from the sidewalk towards our driveway and 6’ from the driveway out to the yard. I would like someone to look at the possibility of it being buried or moved over 1-2’ and the possible cost associated with that.

Our team can assist with getting a ticket created for your pedestal request. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
