Using unethical practices to get people to sign up

They told me they would take care of my past Internet service provider balance if I signed up that day, kept reaching out to them before installation to make sure they were going to pay the balance, their AI agent sent confirmation that it would be taken care of, and after numerous attempts, I finally got what I call a live agent and they told me that they don’t do that and could not help me now I’m stuck with a balance from my other service provider, totally disappointed would never never recommend this corporation, flooded my area to try and get as many people to sign up and then they cut off all communication

Hello @user_11cfv6 I am very sorry to hear about your experience. While I can confirm that we do not offer any reimbursements for balance of other providers, we can get the interaction reported. No agents should be making promises that are against company policies. If you remember the day, time, and any agent information from the interaction we'd be happy to get that reported for you. If you'd like us to do that please send us a direct message with your full name and service address.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
