@Bandz0315 Hello and good morning! Thanks for coming to our community for help with installing a cable outlet.
Our technicians can install or activate unwired prewired outlets during a new installation, reconnect, or change of service.
There are two types of outlets technicians may install:
Prewired: A previously installed outlet requires activation or reconnection. Unwired: This is an outlet that didn't previously exist in a customer's home and is created by our technician, who runs a wire and installs the wall plate and connection for it.
There's a charge for having a tech come out and professional install that outlet.
If the outlet requires a wall fish it can't be installed by our technicians.
If this is the case Hello Tech is a great option for you. I have a link that goes into more details as it does cover wall fishing and custom outlets https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/hellotech-overview
Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address so that I can assist you further? Here's the detailed steps to direct message us: • Click "Sign In" if necessary • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page) • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window • Press Enter to send your message
