URGENT — Residential address incorrectly classified as business

My residential service address is incorrectly classified in Xfinity's system as a business address. When I try to order Xfinity Internet, I receive the message "This looks like a business address" and am only offered Comcast Business.

This is a residential residence and I need to establish residential Xfinity service. Could you please help me submit a serviceability/address correction request to change the location from business to residential?

I need this resolved within the next few days if possible. Please let me know how I can provide the address and other required information via Direct Message.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_thqrpc1 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place for support, with working remotely myself I completely understand the urgency of looking to get the location updated from a business to residential. I'm glad to see our awesome Forum expert @EG was able to move your post, and bring this concern to my attention.

I did want to help get the proper expectations set up that the serviceability team will not accept a lease as documentation. If leasing they would accept a utility bill that is in your name with the address. If you're the owner of the property, they would accept paperwork from the municipality showing the location in question has been updated from commercial zoning.

There is a ticket I can open and upload a copy of the paperwork if you're able to provide that. If you're still needing assistance please follow up at your convenience, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi,

I own this property, but it's a condo and not a single-family home. What would you need to get this changed? I'm unsure who to talk to and why it's labeled as a business.

Thanks
