URGENT: New-Construction Serviceability / Plant Extension Failure — Lebanon, IN

I need urgent assistance from Xfinity’s Serviceability/Construction team regarding two adjacent newly constructed homes in Lebanon, Indiana.

I contacted Xfinity on August 5 and Xfinity accepted installation orders for both properties. The earliest appointments offered were August 18. On August 18, the technician at the first home determined that Xfinity’s required cable/network infrastructure had not been installed to the property. Despite that finding, a second technician was still dispatched later that day to the adjacent home, where the same issue was discovered.

I have since been told that Xfinity is now waiting on construction and government permitting and that completion could take several additional weeks.

These tenants have already been without internet since the beginning of August. My concern is that Xfinity accepted these addresses as serviceable and scheduled standard installation appointments without first identifying that the underlying infrastructure was not actually present.

I need this escalated to the Serviceability / Construction / Plant Extension team, not another routine installation appointment.

Please have an official Xfinity employee contact me privately so I can provide both property addresses, order details, technician findings, and my formal written escalation.

I am specifically requesting:

  1. A construction/serviceability ticket for each property
  2. The exact infrastructure that is missing
  3. The permit number and current permit status
  4. A realistic construction/completion timeline
  5. Confirmation whether temporary above-ground service is possible while permanent burial is pending

If this cannot be resolved promptly or Xfinity cannot provide a substantive construction plan, I am prepared to pursue an FCC internet-service complaint and FCC Broadband Map availability challenges for both addresses.

Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
