Urgent: Exposed Ground Wire Left Unresolved for 3 Months

Dear Xfinity Support,

I am writing to report an unresolved safety issue related to the installation of my Xfinity Internet service. During the technician’s visit approximately three months ago, a ground wire was laid from the street box to my house. The technician informed me at the time that a follow-up ticket had been submitted to properly secure this wire.

To date, no one has returned to complete the work. I have not been contacted. The ground wire continues to lie exposed and loose across my lawn.

This is now a serious concern for the following reasons:

  • It is a tripping hazard, particularly when I or others are doing lawn maintenance like mowing.

  • It poses liability risks, and I am concerned about the possibility of someone getting injured on my property due to Xfinity’s negligence.

  • I was explicitly told this would be resolved, and yet months have passed without any updates or action.

I am requesting that Xfinity dispatch a technician immediately to secure the wire in a safe and permanent manner. Please confirm that a ticket has been submitted and provide the expected timeline for resolution.

This issue is unacceptable, and I expect it to be treated with urgency.
