Upset long time customer [Edit]
Spent over 2 hours in charge trying to set up seamless pick up of a phone for my grandson. Whoever i was chatting with seemed eager to help and was aparently doing what they could to get my best deal. Inquired for an iPhone that wouldn't increase my monthly payment by much, so settled on iPhone 16 he said the m9nthly amount would ve covered by discounts and incentives then offer a me a free apple watch had to get a code from rewards page and again asked a out monthly increase and again no worries it won't increase, great now on to me I want to replace my note9 that's on the account. Asked about a galaxy but after some talk about a tablet said I could get an iPad 8f I replaced note9 with iPhone 15, agreed and m9re money popped up again asked to make sure not to add to monthly bill and again assured no. Then galaxy watch popped up i said i get a galaxy watch too?? He said yes I got you covered. During the chat he mentioned a couple times about items being shipped, I said I needed at least the iPhone 16 in hand today, I was going to pick up a new 10 gateway he told me about ... so told him im a few minutes from store s8nce we started on our way there while texting him (wife drove i wasnt texting and driving) he sa8d no problem store will have all the details.... I get to store and obviously the store couldn't comply, also the reason it wasnt raising my bill is the new 5th generation he neglected to tell me my shared 3 gigs was no longer ger available and would cost me about 40 more a month than what we were paying not 8ncluding the note9 replacement, iPad or watch. Also told by store they aren't issuing the 10 gateways yet.... so every part of the 2 hour chat to make this seamless only exacerbated the entire ordeal. While in store I called customer service after 15 minutes of holding I hung up. Ive been with you s8nce comcast bought Adelphia. Your customer service sounds nice and helpful but lie to make a sale. @iceberg256 Thanks for adding to the community. The plans changed and shared data plans were removed a while ago. We currently have By the Gig, Unlimited, or Premium Unlimited. Any changes to the account will add one of these data options. XB10's will be available to all customers soon, there is not availability for them in stores yet. They are reserved for customers with symmetrical download and upload speeds until more become readily available.
