Hello @user_3jqeu1 We do offer 300mbp/s upload with the 2 gig service in some areas. This is not guaranteed to be available in every location. The broadband labels you posted would be accurate to your specific location. 

The address I used to pull up the 250 upload speed used to show over 300 up. Every next gen address I know of showed over 300 and now those same locations dropped to 250.

I cannot speak to what you are seeing on your end, but the broadcast labels are accurate to what is available currently, and we will always allow for amount that the local network can handle.

I live at a location that used to offer over 300 upload and have speed tests proving I was getting those speeds. Now the broadband facts sheet changed for my address and so has the upload speed. I would like to know the reason for the official decrease in service. Xfinity goes out of their way to notify their customers when their speeds are officially increased by 50Mbps free of charge, but when they officially decrease, we have to read the fine print in the broadband facts to find the truth out.

If you are able to purchase the 2 gig plan at your address, that means your neighborhood has higher upload speeds. Addresses with available plans that max out at 1.2 gigs do not have higher upload speeds.

You can check for yourself by typing in your address into the Xfinity website and shop for internet deals as a new customer. When you select the 2 gig plan you can scroll down and expand the broadband facts sheet for you address and see with certainty what sort of upload speed you should expect at your address.

Thanks. It says 200-300 mbps. But I only get about 70 mbps. I hate having a tech come out. They never understand my setup (customer owned modem, customer owned router, signal amplifier, etc.). Plus I generally know more about DOCSIS protocols then they do (I used to design cable modems in the late 1990s - DOCSIS 1.0 and 1.1).

I feel your pain. Are you using one of the next gen speed tier modems listed here?

@user_3jqeu1​ Yes. Netgear CM2050V (I have Xfinity voice so I need a voice modem). I just got it to replace my Netgear CM1150V when I got X2 speeds.

Yeah from everything I understand, there are no voice enabled modems that can do 300 upload with Xfinity. That’s why I had to find a separate voip provider. The link I sent you doesn’t show an upload value for the 2050v
