Upload speed slower than advertised

Xfinity claimed that my upload speed increased from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps, but speed test still shows my upload at 10 Mbps or less. I've already restarted my modem and router but the speed hasn't increased.

user_0svixy Thanks again for reaching out! After working together in direct message, I'm glad you were able to determine a network configuration change on your personal network solved the upload speed issue. Take care!

Hello user_0svixy. Please make sure you have a new modem that is compatible with those speeds. If you rent an Xfinity modem, you are already compatible. Here is a link for compatible modems https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/list-of-approved-cable-modems.
