Upgrading the modem

I have been an internet customer since March of 2021 and still have the same modem, XB7-CM. We have noticed slower speeds and [Edited: Language] wireless connection to devices.

I am trying to figure out how I can go about upgrading to the latest version of your modem.

The quickest way to swap to a new modem is through our Xfinity Service Center, https://www.xfinity.com/support/store-selector/. If you prefer to have one shipped to you, I can help out there.
 
We would also want to check your signals to be sure there isn't an underlying issue that could be causing your slower speeds. Please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address to get started!
 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it
