Upgraded to Xfi Complete, did not receive a Pod

Hi,

I recently upgraded my service to Xfi Complete. However, I only received a gateway in my welcome kit. Is there a way I can request the Pod too? I have a spot in my house where the signal is weak.

Hello, @user_33a6f3, how are you? I'm glad you subscribed to xFi Complete! It's not only a service that offers tremendous value, but it separates us from other providers. The service does not automatically include an xFi Pod, but the service will conduct a Whole Home Wi-Fi Evaluation. This assessment will review your Wi-Fi performance for 14 days and email you the results. If you are eligible for free xFi Pods, the evaluation will let you know. You'll receive an evaluation every 6 months for 24 months. This is all in an effort to make sure your modem broadcasts the best Wi-Fi possible. You can learn more here. How will I know if the assessment has started? I have not received any emails regarding it

Great question, 

 

  • You should connect all your WiFi-enabled devices as soon as possible following activation of your xFi Gateway.
  •  
    • The evaluation will begin when the new xFi Gateway is activated. After the initial 14-day assessment period, you’ll receive additional emails with information about your xFi network performance.
  • After the Whole Home evaluation is complete, the results are sent to the primary email address on file.
  •  
  • Depending on the results, you’ll receive one of two emails indicating:
  • Email One: Your coverage is looking great. Note: If you receive this email, you don’t need to take any action.
  •  

Email Two: You can improve your home WiFi coverage with an xFi Pod. Note: If you receive this email, you're eligible to receive an xFi Pod at no additional cost. The xFi Pod must be redeemed using the link in the email and will be shipped within five to seven business days of redemption

 

  • If you are not recommended for an xFi Pod, you’ll receive another evaluation every six months for 24 months, or until you receive an email indicating that you may benefit from an xFi Pod.
