Upgraded to x2 Plan. Download speeds increased, upload still at around 30mbps

Hi.

I upgraded yesterday from a 1gb/30mbit plan to x2 which is 2gb/300mbit. My download speeds increased to approximately 2gigabit, but my upload speeds have not changed and are still at around 20mbit.

My modem is a self-owned Motorola MB8611. This modem has a 2.5Gb ethernet port. I have that port connected to the 10Gb port on my router, which is a UniFi UDM Pro. I have measured speed as follows:

- Using the UDM Pro's built in speed measurement: Down: over 2gb. Up: 30mbit

- Speedtest on a Mac connected via 1gb ethernet to the UDM Pro: Down: 1gb. Up 30mbit (obviously can't exceed the mac <-> router 1Gb connection)

- Mac connected directly to the modem: Down: 1Gb. Up: 30mbit (again, won't go faster than 1gb due to the 1gb interconnect)

I have seen numerous threads on this forum about people having this problem. The resolution has always been for someone from Xfinity to either correct something on the backend or to provision the customer's modem correctly.

I am requesting similar assistance. I don't believe further troubleshooting on my end is required - I hope I've provided enough information to establish that.

I look forward to hearing from someone. Thanks!
