Upgraded plans and lost unlimited data / no speed increase

I upgraded from a legacy plan to Gigabit X2 about a month ago. I just got an email telling me I've used 75% of my bandwidth, something I've never gotten before because I've always had unlimited data. I can find no way to add it back.

I am also getting the same speeds as before (40 up, 300 down). I have an Arris Surfboard S34 modem

Thanks for reaching out to us I'll be happy to look at your account and make sure we get the unlimited data option added back for you and to help provision your modem because you do have the correct modem to receive the speed for the GB x2 plan

 

 

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

    • Click "Sign In" if necessary
    • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
    • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
    • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
    • Press Enter to send your message
