Upgrade to 2Gb service

Im interested in upgrading my Internet to 2Gb service. I noticed that it shows as available if I look it up as a new customer, however when I try to upgrade online it doesn't show up as an option.

I currently have a Netgear CM2000 modem. Will it support your 2GB internet service and if so, what will be the upload speed?
