Unwanted/Unsolicited Marketing Emails

I am continuously receiving marketing and other emails from Xfinity despite having updated my privacy/communication preferenes to opt out of all marketing related emails. I fear the website hasn't succesfully removed my email address from this list.

 

I have received what I consider to be spam emails from Xfinity-at least 14 emails in december alone. I need these emails to stop!

Same problem for me. I unsubscribed and chatted with Xfinity support several times AND called the support center but I'm still receiveing unwanted marketing emails from Xfinity. It there a way to STOP this? Can anybody help please? Thank you

Greetings everyone! I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on the forums. I hope you are having an amazing day! I apologize to hear that your are getting unwanted marketing emails from Comcast. If you have already tried to unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails, that the following:

Go to the MyAccount app (not website) > click on the three lines in upper left corner > click on the gear to get into settings > click Do not sell my personal information > Scroll down to the bottom of this page and you should see "Marketing and Special Offers Emails", click on set preferences and see if you have anything from the email side turned on. If they are, turn them off and this should take care of the emails.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I have followed your steps and ALL email settings were already turned OFF. However, I'm still receiving unwanted marketing emails from Xfinity. Can you please STOP this permanentely. 

 

I have contacted support via chat and phone multiple times with no result, this is totally unacceptable. I'm an Xfinity paying customer and I hav eto waste my time trying to configure such a simple setting.

Please let me know what the next steps are.

@ComcastMichael Everything is set to "OFF" yet I still continue to receive marketing emails from XFINITY. Please help me make them stop!

I'm sorry to hear you are still receiving our marketing emails even after putting forth the time and effort to disable them yourselves. @mmct I'm in the same boat as you. I've had about 2 or 3 XFINITY employees tell me to DM them. After I send them a DM, things go silent and they never respond, or they say they're going to help but they never do. I've had this happen several times now. 

 

I recommend filing a formal complaint to the FTC because they're in violation of the CAN SPAM ACT. If you use Gmail, I recommend setting up a filter that sends email coming from xfinity@emails.xfinity.com straight to the trash.

Yeah, this is happening to me too. every opt out option on every marketing, advertising, etc page on my account settings is set to Opt Out or off. I am still getting this garbage weekly watch lists and other spam.
