If you subscribed to NHL Center Ice last season then you are automatically renewed for this coming season and you should have received a letter from XFinity to let you know this. My letter was dated September 6th.
In the letter it states that if you have any questions please call 1-800-xfinity and I would presume that you would call the same number to say that you didn't want to renew and they should be able to cancel it. I would not wait too long as the new season starts next week.
Yeah, I had a bunch of stuff going on early September, so I probably missed the letter.
Did talk to a human, who seemed to have a lot of trouble understanding what the issue what, but claimed to have taken care of it, and sent me an "update" that's just a link to "Xfinity Rewards" which I care nothing about; however, she did say the unsubscribe went through, and I consider that official and any renewal for that service will be neither accepted nor paid.
Hello @user_e4c9a2 We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us today. I know how important it is to ensure you are only paying for the services you want. I'd be happy to investigate this and make sure we get the NHL charge removed. Please send me a DM with your name and full address by doing the following:
Ensure you are first signed in, then you will see an icon at the top right of your page. From there, click the 'New Message' icon. In the 'To' field, type 'Xfinity Support'. Type your message in the text area that appears at the bottom of the window and hit enter to send. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.
I am an Official Xfinity Employee. Official Employees are from multiple teams within Xfinity: CARE, Product, Leadership. We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation. Was your question answered? Please, mark a reply as the Accepted Answer.

I will just deduct the NHL charge from my bill … they can’t seem to be able to cancel it.
