Unreturned Equipment Fee

I was billed a $500 unreturned equipment fee on an account that is discontinued. It has been over 30 days since discontinued, can I still return the equipment to an Xfinity location and have the fee waived from the account as the due date for the bill is next month?

Once you discontinue service you have 10 days to return your rented equipment.  Since you got the fee apparently you disconnected the account quite a while ago.

As far as I know, yes, you can return the equipment now and have the fee dropped.  FWIW, this had nothing to do with the billing cycle, but everything to do with when you disconnected your service[s].

Hello @Greenlatern2020, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum, and we would be happy to help. Yes, you can still return the equipment, and then we can look at the fees to reverse them.
