Unreturned equipment 2 years later

I had xfinity(just signed up for internet again) until about two years ago. I was charged for the equipment. Can I still return it?

@user_061f41 Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. Are you looking to use your own equipment? If so, then yes once you have your modem connected to your account then you can return the Gateway you are renting. The following link will help you find the 3rd part equipment that works with your Xfinity internet. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/list-of-approved-cable-modems Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I’d like to return the old ones. I have a text from 2021 saying if I sent them back I would get a refund. I was just wondering if that was still possible.

That is a good question. I can't say that I have experienced this question before. We'll be happy to look into it for you. Do you recall if the unreturned equipment charges were paid?

I did pay them and then forgot to bring everything back.
