Unlock the esim capability

My new iPhone 17 has the esim support locked so i can not add a second esim for data only when traveling to Europe.  Can you tell me how to unlock the phone to support a second esim for data only support.

user_76561c Thank you for reaching out with your concerns! To unlock the second eSIM the phone needs to be unlocked. Xfinity Mobile phones normally unlock withing 48 hours of being paid off. You can find more information here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/eligible-to-unlock-phone.
