Unlimited Data

Hello,

I am trying to add unlimited data to my internet plan but I receive an error when I try to do so online. Can you help add this to my account.

Thank you!

Have a Comcast store nearby?  If you do it's the most reliable way to get things like this done if you can't get the web site to do it.  In my experience the retail store reps have a lot more power than the phone reps.  It seems like if it's allowed per Comcast policy the store reps can just do it, while the phone reps will put you on hold, then transfer you to some other department where you end up waiting on hold again because the first level phone reps aren't really allowed to do anything.  I had an issue where my configured speed didn't match my billed service plan.  Phone reps were useless.  "It says it's supposed to be 150".  My bill said 1200, and I was paying for gigabit extra.  150 is the speed I had when I first signed up back in 2017 and somehow my account reverted to 150 even though it wasn't even an offered Internet speed at the time and I was paying for 1200/35.  Store rep fixed it in 30 seconds, and my line was running at 1200/35 by the time I got home.  Of course it all depends on how far you have to go.  For me it's like a 10 minute drive, so it's much easier than dealing with the automated phone system.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
