Ungrounded coax drop caused lightning surge damage to personal property.
A thunderstorm this morning appears to have caused a surge in the coax drop from Xfinity to my house (photos below).
This surge damaged my modem and, through it's Ethernet connection to the router damaged the router and also a printer that was connected via Ethernet to the damaged router.
Since Xfinity failed to ground the drop line which is required by electrical codes, I believe it is their responsibility to reimburse me for replacing this equipment.
