Hello, @user_087y17 There is a possible service visit charge which is covers in the service agreement for homes that have never had our service and self-installations that have failed and then require a professional installation. The technician determines the possible service visit charge based on the cause of the trouble. Can you provide us with more detail about what that installation was for and how you set up the services? For example, was this by phone, retail store visit, or online? And was this a new installation, add on service, or a failed self installation?
I've had Comcast service since 1986. Xfinity was adding back Internet service. I arranged service via Internet and phone. The issue is, I was never told there would be an installation charge.
@user_087y17 we have tried to make any charges that may be applied as transparent as possible, whenever an order is placed there is typically an order approval that would disclose any charges that may be associated with a visit.
- Did you receive an order approval for the installation job?
