Underground marking

Used 811 to mark utilities on property, Comcast was not listed as a utility and the line from the post to the house was never marked.  How do I get it marked?

user_67sanb Is there an issue with the line or just wanting to get it marked?

It needs to be marked for digging to be done on the property.  Don’t want it damaged!

user_67sanb, typically the 811 route will mark our lines, so it's odd that didn't happen. It could be that you have an aerial line. Did 811 specifiy if they were unable to locate our lines?

Line is definitely not aerial, it comes up out of the ground to enter the house.  Nowhere on the 811 ticket is Comcast mentioned, only REC, Dominion, Verizon, ATT, and Commonwealth Utilities.  811 never references Comcast.

user_67sanb I'll put in a request to see if I can get a tech out to mark, but it is strange 811 didn't mark it for you.

Please send us a [modmail message](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=/r/Comcast_Xfinity&linkId=103336330) with your full name and service address. I look forward to helping you!

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
