Underground Cable Relocation

user_sikie5 Hello there! Thanks for creating the post for our team to help out with having the cable relocated. I'm sorry that the Xfinity Assistant was not able to help out with this request. Fortunately you found the best team for help! 

 

I'm sure you are excited with the new garage being built. I wish you the best with the new construction. 

For requests to relocate a line we have to ask that you send us a direct message with your name and service address. 

If you are not a current customer, your address or the address closest to the cable line that needs to be moved will help out. 

 

There is a non-refundable $100.00 charge to request a line to be relocated, even if our construction team determines we are unable to move the line. I have not personally come across a situation where we were not able to relocate the line, but I know it has happened in some cases. 

 

Please send us a direct message with your name, address, phone number and best contact email please. From there we can work on setting up the request. 

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
