Unburied Xfinity service drop

I had a Xfinity technician here on Monday to put in a new service drop due. The ticket that he submitted to have the line buried the buried service drop ticket was closed by the Xfinity system without my knowledge and the service drop is causing a trip hazard.

Good morning @user_bku2q8 Once a technician determines that a new underground line is needed, a ticket is submitted for our underground team to complete the work. If there are no delays, installation or replacement is typically completed within 14 calendar days of the order being placed.

Before work can begin, local utility companies must mark any buried utility lines through the 811 (Dig Safe) process. Please note that you are responsible for marking any private systems on your property, such as sprinkler systems, invisible pet fences, etc.

Once the utilities have been marked and clearance is received, our underground crew will be assigned to complete the installation. If access to your property requires coordination, such as for pets or locked gates, you'll be contacted to schedule the work. After the new underground line is installed, any temporary cable line will be removed.

We'd be happy to keep an eye on the ticket and monitor the progress to help ensure the work is completed as scheduled.
