Unauthorized Service Request

I got an official Xfinity email saying the my service request was confirmed, I have NOT request a service at all so i am left wondering why this email was sent to me?
Additionally the Wifi also went out for 2 minutes all off a sudden. I have also been trying to get in touch with a live agent but that has not been possible.
