Unauthorized 36-Month Contract Applied Without Consent
Hello,
I am writing because Comcast/Xfinity has once again changed my account without my consent.
On September 19, 2025, I received an email with the subject line “Your updated service order is confirmed.” The email shows that my account was placed into a **36-month contract (“SUPERFAST for 36 months”) at $80/month**, with an **Early Termination Fee of $230**.
I never authorized or requested this change by phone, chat, or online. This is not the first time I have had this problem — I already have an FCC complaint open since July 2025 regarding similar contract issues that were never resolved.
Now Xfinity has made things worse by extending my contract until February 2028 without my approval.
I request immediate cancellation of this unauthorized contract and all services without any early termination fees, and written confirmation that my account will be closed in good standing. I also have an FCC complaint already open regarding this matter.
