Unable to send Xfinity mail from iPhone

I have a friend who is not computer or iPhone knowledgeable who has been using Xfinity mail on his iPhone and has never logged into Xfinity email on the web.   Now he cannot send email Xfinity email or iCloud.com email from his phone but can receive emails.  He contacted Xfinity and Apple customer service but they were not able to find a solution.  The friend did state he remembers seeing an email from Xfinity about having to log into Xfinity on a computer at least once a year or his email would be deactivated.  He is still able to receive sing the email.

@Junior34 Thanks for reaching out on behalf of your friend. It is actually 90 days to login on the website at least once to keep the emails active. We have no ability to restore access on our end if this is what is causing the issues. But your friend would be able to call our main helpline at 1-800-934-6489 and request to speak to our Customer Security Assurance team. They may be able to assist him with getting access restored depending on how long it has been.
