unable to move my internet

im currently in the process of try to move my internet from my current address to a different address in the same building, but when i put in the address and the date. it accepts everything but then gives me and error message with the following "Looks like your move requires a bit of extra attention". i called the number that was provided and was on hold for a hot minute and didn't get through to a rep. i'm just looking to troubleshoot and see if there is anyway i can fix this myself. i am in contact with the old tenant if that provides anything.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I just signed up for Comcast today, and I realized that I put in the wrong apartment number, I am not getting any options on the app to quickly fix this mistake & I cannot get a hold of anyone.

@marcus_m01 I can definitely understand the concern and frustration. Rest assured that our team here can help sort out the new account and help get the address corrected. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
