Unable to log in/ use the app/ talk to live agent

recently received my Xfinity NOW router last week, but I have been unable to use or set it up because I cannot access the Xfinity app.

Whenever I try to log in, the app says that I am “not a customer” and that I am “not authorized to use the app,” even though I already received the equipment. Because of this issue, I have not been able to complete the setup process or manage my service through the app.

I would like assistance resolving the account/app access issue, and I would also like to request an appointment for a technician or support worker to come help set up the router as soon as possible

user_m53a87 Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your NOW internet services. With your new NOW gateway, if you scan the QR code on the bottom of the device, it should bring you right to the activation process. If you are still having issues, the NOW services have their own support options through the NOW portal.

@XfinityAmandaB I need to speak to a live agent to schedule an appointment for the to come out. When I scan the QR code it says that I am not a customer and am not authorized to use the app.

user_m53a87 Live support for NOW services is limited. Since NOW services are a prepaid service, they are not supported the same as most of our other services, and you do need to use the Xfinity assistant with the line I provided above for support. We would not be able to access your NOW account details to provide activation support.
