Unable to get phone number ported!

I switched to
Xfinity/Comcast August 2025. We requested our landline home phone
number [Edited: "Personal Information"] of 40 years be ported at that time. It is now
mid April 2026. I have spoken to service technicians over 40 times. I
have been put on hold multiple times for 2-4 hours. Each time I was
told the issue would escalate and be corrected shortly.
I asked a technician to come and verify my set-up was correct. He
verified the modem was working correctly. He was unwilling to check
wires coming into the house or anything else. Everytime I asked about
connections he said I only do this. Anything else is corporate. He
would not help.
I am writing this out of desperation!

Thank you for reaching out to our team. I am sorry to hear about that experience so far, and I will be happy to look at any issue on your account. Can you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service? To send a direct message.

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
