Unable to get any info on an outage
Internet has been down for over 12 hours, can’t speak with a rep on the app via chat because it says it knows there’s an outage and I can’t speak to a rep until it’s restored, call in the 800 number and it tells me the same thing then automatically disconnects me. My household works from home and we need some sort of update on when this will be resolved, the app has said eta is “as soon as possible” and that it’s “under investigation” since it went out.

Hello @user_lb1yb thanks so much for taking the time and reaching out here via our Xfinity Forums! I'm glad to hear you're using Xfinity Status Center to keep track of any updates on your service interruption. When seeing ASAP or Under Investigation, this normally points to a larger repair or a repair that requires coordination with other entities. This does update in near real time though, so once that status changes you'll be able to see it.

This is ridiculous! People are trying to complete their tax returns this weekend and would like to watch the Masters Golf Tournament! This is the third extended outage me and my neighbors have experienced in the last several weeks. Many are fed up and are switching to Verizon and I think I’m on the way myself. I hate to be petty but frankly Xfinity has a 100% record for getting their billing out on time! I’m really not happy and frankly getting madder by the moment.
