Unable to cancel
I too am unable to cancel internet service. Xfinity doesn’t employ humans. I will retain a lawyer this week if my service isn’t cancelled.
And I’ve read these forums about direct messaging. There is no direct message icon in the upper right of this screen.
Horrible customer service.

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Peer to peer" / "Private chat message" message to Xfinity Support:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon or https://comca.st/3wjbsKk
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
• - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

I'm also unable to use any support phone numbers or live chat services to cancel. They are doing this intentionally. its 2024, this is pathetic.
