Unable to add payment method

I recently updated my email and phone number of file and verified both. Im trying to enter a payment method and every time I try I get the message saying it’s unable to update payment method and that my contact information needs to be updated. I’ve spent 2 hours on chat and phone support, tried on my phone, the app and my computer. I’ve reset the history as well and nothing has worked. I have a bill due September 7 and am unable to enter any payment information to my account.

Hi there, @user_2r7u7x! I apologize you have spent so much time trying to get the payment to update. We want things to be easy and understand that would be frustrating to go through. This link shows how manage your payment methods, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/my-account-app-manage-stored-payments. Those steps are used if you make one time payments. If you have automatic payments set up, these instructions are used instead, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/setting-up-auto-payments. The section is about 1/2 way down the page, under Manage Automatic Payments. Do you have automatic payments set up on your account?

Thank you for the link, however, I am not able to update my payment methods. I do not have automatic payments currently as they had me remove it while on the support call. I’m unable to add an automatic payment back to my account as I keep getting the same error message.
