Unable to activate Peacock Premium Plus.

I am unable to activate Peacock Premium Plus. When I click the link to activate, a pop up window appears with the three "loading" dots on the bottom. After a few seconds the dots disappear and I get the following message:

"Something unexpected happened

Please close this pop up and try again. If the problem persists, try again later. I pasted the message below."

I've tried activating from xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions and https://customer.xfinity.com/activate-peacock and get the same message on both sites. I also get the same error when using my mobile phone, both on home wifi and mobile data. I've tried clearing cache, cookies, and history and nothing works. Any help would be appreciated.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
