Two Year Agreement Ends on Oct. 23
I have cable tv and internet service with Xfinity. My two year agreement with them ends on Oct. 23 this year. My bill is currently around $209 per month. I would like a new agreement with Xfinity and would like to keep what I have now at the same price for another two years. Is this possible? If not, I am afraid I will have to do something different. I am not sure what yet, but am looking at YouTube Tv. What are the rest of you doing to fight the rising costs of Xfinity? Are any of you using YouTube Tv? I have been with Xfinity for a lot of years and would like to remain a customer, but will not pay anymore than we are now. Maybe asking about alternatives to Xfinity is not something I should do on an Xfinity site?
Thanks for any help.

Nothing you can do. Xfinity has a monopoly in communities they serve due to their franchise contract with the city/township you live in. In otherwards, kickbacks to those governmental entities for not allowing competitors like Charter to enter the market.
Contact your local government to request that they open the market to all competitors. Good Luck

That works but you do have to return all equipment and then receive new equipment under the new account.
