Two different accounts in one house

The internet here [Edited: "Language"] and I want to pay for my own separate modem and router I’ve already tried the boosters and the extenders and they do nothing. I don’t understand why USPS would be a problem in having two different accounts when the names and account numbers are different. And when I decide to move I still have to call and verify my account with the name and number to cancel it so why can’t I have two different accounts in the same house.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I am sorry to hear you are having internet issues @user_844e91. You are able to buy your own modem and router to use if you do prefer to go that route. Here is a link that shows what modems work with our service: https://comca.st/3Gk2RO2

Unfortunately, you can only have 1 account per address with our service. This is due to how our infrastructure or systems work. We'd be happy to help look into service issues if you'd like?

I have seen homes have two different providers in them before. It will all just depend on how your house is wired. You would need to contact the other providers and see if it is possible!

I no longer work for Comcast.
