Trying to get a new line laid to an property
I am considering buying a new house, but it is .6 miles from the nearest xfinity customer and it currently does not have a line. I won't buy the house if I can't get broadband, so I'm trying to assess what it will take to get a new line installed. (there are several other houses nearby that would benefit, at least one has made inquiries before)

@TruLove_Fam Thanks for posting. Buying a new home is a great experience, and I hope you get the one you like best. A home has to be within 200 Feet of a Node, or a connection point. That is required in order to connect the home to our network, successfully and safely. Until then, it is not possible to connect a location that is over 200 Feet or half a mile out. When a home is within 200 Feet of a node, we can request a survey to see how much it would be to connect the home. Sometimes it can be free, sometimes it runs into the several thousands. When you all see a node or service lines installed within 200 Feet of your residences, everyone can get together to see how much they're willing to invest, and who wants to switch over. That will give you all the most leverage in pricing. For now, we hope to expand to your area in the future and appreciate you checking with us for service.
