Tree trimming

The trees on the undeveloped property adjoining mine have completely overgrown the XFinity lines that run pole to pole (NOT the drop lines to the house). I do not know who owns the property. The local power company has inspected the lines and confirmed they do not belong to them and my local government (Charlotte County, FL) has told me they do not trim trees. Neither the trees or the lines are on my property but are clearly visible from my property. I think I can assume the owner of this undeveloped land has no interest in trimming these trees. How do we get the lines cleared before a storm brings down the trees and the lines and knocks out the service in our Community?

Hello @user_345dd3. I can definitely understand your concern about getting this resolved before a possible issue arises. I am very sorry to tell you that we do not trim trees. This is the property owners responsibility to get the tree trimmed.

@user_345dd3 If you don't know the property owner you could probably check with the city for tax records.  And actually, you might be able to find the record online.

Thank you for your response  I have posted on my local community website and this forum and gotten the same response  But, fair warning, the weight of the branches alone is going to bring down the lines even without a storm

Thank you for the pictures and the warning. I hope it does not bring the lines down. If it does, please feel free to reach back out here, and we can then get the line taken care of. Why I have you here, how are your services doing and is there anything else we may assist you with this evening?

I no longer work for Comcast.
