Tree Down on lines and can't get a hold of a person

Do to storms in the area, there is a tree on the Comcast lines in my backyard. The AI is not smart enough to figure this out. I gues your service can stay down until you do a house to house inspection as to where the problem is.  The worst customer service options.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We do apologize for any inconvenience. To clarify, is this tree still on the cable line or is the cable line free and clear?

Your line between telephone poles is helping to hold the tree from resting firmly on the ground

Thanks for clarifying. Before our team could come out to raise the cable line, the tree would need to be removed.

You mentioned there was a storm in the area. Have you checked the Xfinity app or via this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/statusmap to show if there's a service interruption in your area due to the severe weather?

There is a service interruption in the area - could be a tree on the line. Who removes it? XFinity, ATT, Power company. Let me say the telephone pole is leaning, so the problem is only going to get worse if someone doesn't do something.
Just heard from the power company, there lines are above the tree, so it's up to Xfinity and ATT.

Thanks for clarifying if the service interruption is due to severe weather in the area.  Once the area is safe, our teams will begin to repair the network to restore services as soon as possible. Note: Occasionally, power companies need to finish their work before we can begin our work. Also, if your home has power, the Xfinity network serving your home may be without power, preventing your service from working.

For downed trees on cable lines, the property owner is responsible for having the tree removed before the cable company can raise or repair the line.

I experienced something similar during a severe ice storm where I live. A tree fell onto the roof of the rental property and damaged the power cables.

In that situation, the landlord had to arrange for the tree to be removed before the power company could reconnect the line.

On our awesome Xfinity app you can set up a notification to be alerted once the service and interruption is resolved in the area

Thank you for the response. Since it's not my tree, which was growing (or once growing)on the neighbors property, and technically it's not on my property, because it is being held up by the ATT and Comcast lines going between telephone / power poles.  I'll wait for the tree to finish falling on my lot to remove. Thank you for the assistance.
