Transfer services to another user
I am moving out and ending my service on the first. Is there a way to cancel ending my service and transfer the service to my roomate? That way she can keep the router and not have to get a new one?

If you'd like to transfer service to your roommate rather than disconnect it, there may be options available through an account ownership change. We know there are times when account ownership needs to be updated, such as when a roommate is taking over service at the same address.

1. Click "Sign In" (If necessary)
2. Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon.
3. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
4. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support".
5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
8. Press Enter to send it.
